Homemeade Roasted Cinnamon Almonds
Nuts are such a great healthy snack but nuts from the store can leave you with a ton of extra salt sugar and other junk. Great snack for on the go!
Prep Time: 15 min.
Cook Time: 1 hr.
Serving size: 16 serv(2 Tbsp. each)
Ingredients:
1 large egg white
2 Tbsp. raw honey (or pure maple syrup)
2 cups whole raw almonds
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
¼ tsp. sea salt (I prefer Himalayan salt)
Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 250° F.
2. Line large baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
3. Combine egg white and honey in a medium bowl; whisk until frothy.
4. Place almonds on prepared baking sheet using a slotted spoon so that excess egg white mixture is removed from almonds. Spread almonds evenly on baking sheet. Sprinkle evenly with cinnamon and salt.
5. Bake for 60 minutes, stir every 20 minutes. Let cool 5-10 min and enjoy.
